Napoleon and Henry County!
We offer great destinations and great
roads to ride and enjoy. Contact Us
for further details or help.
1.
The first stop for any true motorcycle
enthusiast should be Harley
Davidson of Napoleon .
The oldest and most experienced Harley
dealer in Northwest Ohio, Southern Michigan and
Western Indiana also boasts the newest and
largest facility!
Don’t miss Marv’s Museum – take a
trip through Harley History right before your
eyes. Pick
up the latest Harley gear and merchandise…and
of course check out the great new and used
Harley Davidson bikes.
Also, if you need parts or service the
staff at Harley Davidson of Napoleon takes great
pride in their honesty, integrity and hard work.
Cruise in today!
2.
We’ve got miles and miles of great
roadway to cruise, but only one Ohio-designated
“Scenic Byway”.
State
Route 424 between Napoleon and
Defiance is the first stretch to hit.
The highway winds through Henry County on
the North bank of the Maumee River.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery, the
interesting ride and an “off the main road”
feel. No
matter what time you are riding Henry County –
Spring, Summer or Fall – you’ll find a ride
to tell your friends about!
3.
After you come back into Napoleon from
Route 424, stop for lunch, dinner or just some
cold refreshment at Rick’s
Sports Bar and Eatery on North Perry
Street in Downtown Napoleon.
Most anytime when you pull in front of
Rick’s, you’ll see other bikes waiting for
more miles while their riders are filling up
inside. A
great atmosphere, large menu and cold drinks
await. Take
a break and talk about your favorite story from
the road with new friends or old.
4.
Time to get back on and ride – our
second most recommended ride takes the South
side of the Maumee River this time.
State
Route 110 between Napoleon and Grand
Rapids offers another view of the “Mighty
Maumee” and another spectacular stretch of
road to explore.
You can feel the history all around you
as you take the curves.
Nature opens up for you and you own the
road! Stop
along the way at Mary Jane Thurston Park or
cruise back to Napoleon for some Lodging
or some shopping or dining.
Our feature roads will, hopefully, keep
you coming back again and again!
We’ve
featured just two of our fine roads for this
Itinerary.
But take the time to stop in the Napoleon/Henry
County Visitors Bureau office in Downtown
Napoleon for a map of Henry County (or call or
email us – we’ll send one to you).
There are many great cruises on our
backroads.
The roads in the Northeast portion of the
County around Liberty Center offer great views.
The blacktop in Southern Henry County
near Hamler and Deshler also beckon.
Take the time to explore our County.
We’re proud of our great roads and our
great people.
We hope you feel comfortable and we
welcome your rides!
Don’t forget – we are also centrally
located for all of your trips in the Tri-state
area. Use
us for your “home base” wherever you do some
road tripping.
